Innovation Seminar

New technological solutions to fight against poverty and exclusion

Campus Party Europe is the best possible time and place to encourage debates between young innovators whose terrain is the digital world, public administrations and private sector companies.  The best way to do this is through a seminar in which everyone can talk about their interests and concerns and their vision of the future that awaits us through the Internet, especially from the contributions that technology can provide to fight against poverty and exclusion.

Included in the official agenda of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union, and through the Ministry of Science and innovation, the event will bring together in a seminar the top level politicians of the EU (belonging to the Presidency Trio: Spain, Hungary and Belgium) as well as Cristina Garmendia, Minister for Science and Innovation, the young creators of the most interesting projects presented at Campus Party and representatives from private sector companies.

The winners of the MICINN Challenge and the Awards for Innovation will be able to explain their projects and, at the same time, receive comments on their work from the rest of the participants in the seminar.  The public administrations will also be able to describe the political future plans for innovation and new technologies, and thus allowing for a synergy otherwise difficult to produce in other encounters.

The seminar “New technological solutions to fight against poverty and exclusion” will in this way become one of the most interesting and enriching moments of the event, as what is discussed during the seminar will be transcribed into a final document of conclusions.

The seminar will be held on Friday 16th of April at 16:00
