Think Big is a programme run by Telefónica Germany and the German Children and Youth Foundation (GCYF), which gives 14 to 25-year-olds the chance to put their project ideas into practice by using digital media and reveal their potential. To do so, they are supported with 400 euros and specialist coaching from teachers and other young people. The ideas range from a social media course for teachers, to a film about environmental protection, to a dancemob for greater tolerance. The young people document the results of all project phases on the shared website www.o2thinkbig.de, so that the ideas can inspire as many other young people as possible. The aim of Think Big is to encourage young people to use their own initiative and give them new perspectives on life and careers.
Think Big@ Campus Party Young people from across Europe will join Campus Party for the Think Big App Workshop, which takes place 24th and 25th of August. They will be working on ideas for mobile apps that intend to solve a social or environmental challenge.
Ready to become a changemaker?
Help young people to improve our world! To supervise and guide those young people we need a Campusero community of professionals – YOU!
Each team will need the support of two Campuseros providing specific design and programming know-how each of the two days.
